What an inspection may identify

How we approach the job
1.External assessment
Coverings, ridge, verges, valleys, flashings, the chimney and rainwater goods are checked from safe access points.
2.Attic check
Where there is access, we look at the underside — membrane, timbers, insulation, ventilation and any evidence of water.
3.Findings explained plainly
You get a straightforward summary of what we found, with photographs where access allows.
4.Priorities, not pressure
Recommended work is separated into what is urgent and what can be planned, with quotations for whatever you decide to go ahead with.
What a roofing inspection is not
It is an assessment of visible and accessible roofing condition. It is not a certified survey, a structural engineering report or a valuation, and where something needs a different professional we will say so.
